Beautiful pieces by husband and wife duo, Pinch.

I prefer these images with the Ferrari over those new ones with the (admittedly nice) Maserati. More at Blue Ant Studio.

Been looking for some new furniture for the new digs and came across these designs by Matthew Hilton for De La Espada.

Like a red line in storytelling, the continuous aluminium ribbon connects the many rooms and corridors as well as the different elements that relate to the meaning and functions of work in our society. Designed by the famous German-based interactive media firm Art+Com, a series of minimalistically 3D lines, surfaces, blocks and points expand from the ribbon to illustrate statistical background information in a both enjoyable and detailed way.

Saw these interior shots of Salt Lake City house at Plastolux and was drawn to the classic funiture and nice mix of modern feel and more earthy materials. Also check out the before-remodel shots, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Project info at the architects’ site. Seen at Blue Ant Studio. bldgs is the office of architects Brian Bell and David Yocum.

Saw this beautiful apartment in a recent Dwell. It’s got such a great style to it, and I love how the owners have taken a minimalist look and added their own identity to it. Stunning stills and teasers for ‘a full-CG animated piece that tries to illustrate architecture art across a photographic point of view where main subjects are already-built spaces’.
2nd largest aquarium tank in the world.
Song is Please Don’t Go by Barcelona. Thanks for the tip, John.

Museum-like minimalist forms and a wide open natural landscape seem to create a uniquely peaceful setting for this cemetery.

Nice use of seemingly contrasting elements: modern aesthetic and traditional New England materials.
